Put yourself in the homeowner’s position. You need a job done, you can either make loads of telephone calls to tradesmen you know nothing about, or simply post your job to our site once. You can then relax and wait for quality tradesmen to show up on your area of the site. You can then compare and contrast those tradesmen before choosing the one you want and hiring them via the site – it’s easy, fast and free.

If you advertise in the local papers take a look at how many similar tradesmen are available in your section. Remember also that there are many different local newspapers, almost all of them carry ads for builders and tradesmen. That’s a lot of competitors advertising in the same place and everyone looks the same....service offered, company name, phone number. It doesn’t tell the customer anything about you, and compared to Local and Trusted it is hugely expensive.

When you register an interest in a job via Local and Trusted the job owner (homeowner) is instantly able to see your profile. Your profile is where you can describe your company, explain why you are so good, emphasise your experience/qualifications, display photos of your work (if your trade lends itself to this) and most importantly show your references.

Once we have verified two of your references your profile will show the “trusted status” stamp of approval. This leaves the homeowner in no doubt that you are a tradesman worth hiring.

The reviews are verified by us then placed on your profile page for other North East job owners to see. So you can quickly build up a fantastic reputation making it even more likely that you will win further work. If you consistently receive positive ratings you will be awarded our top accolade “Highly Trusted” status. The “Highly Trusted” stamp of approval will be automatically added to your profile page, giving even more peace of mind to other homeowners, it’s like electronic word of mouth!

We offer our service for £190 per year.  That's it - simple.

We believe that is simply unbeatable for any comparable service. Remember we don’t charge lead fees or success fees – ever!  When compared to Newspaper Ads it’s even more obvious where the value lies; we are charging less per year than they are charging per month. Maybe that’s why the region’s biggest local Newspapers refused to publish our adverts? We’ll leave you to decide why that might be!
